I’m back from a wonderful, much-needed vacation to Walt Disney World with tons of pictures and information on all of the new exciting things going on, but today we are going to talk about changes coming to the 2017 Disney Dining Plan.
To be eligible to book a Disney Dining Plan, you must book a Magic Your Way Package including your stay at a participating Walt Disney World resort and minimum base theme park ticket for everyone included in your reservation.
The 3 different dining plans to choose from are outlined below:
2017 Disney Dining Plan
The 2017 Quick Service Dining Plan will include the following entitlements per person (age 3 and over) per night of stay:
- two quick-service meals (one non-alcoholic drink and one entree)
- two snacks
- one refillable resort mug
The 2017 Disney Dining Plan will include the following entitlements per person (age 3 and over) per night of stay:
- one table-service meal (one non-alcoholic drink, one entree, one dessert OR full buffet)
- one quick-service meal (one non-alcoholic drink and one entree)
- two snacks
- one refillable resort mug
The 2017 Deluxe Dining Plan will include the following entitlements per person (age 3 and over) per night of stay:
- three meals (may choose from quick service or table service)
- two snacks
- one refillable resort mug
The only change to all 3 plans is that Disney has removed the dessert with the quick service meals and added a second snack in it’s place. I think this is a great change. It’s hard to eat two desserts a day for some people, and the added option of a second snack credit helps to use snacks to spread out your two meal credits which helps to stretch your dining plan to make your credits last longer.
